The company continues to make significant strides in delivering key components of a building system in an “off-site construction” approach that is disrupting the way traditional data centers are being built. J-Tech’s roots go beyond modular data centers.

J-Tech Industries key competitive differentiation is derived from its longevity in the modular and pre-fabrication business combined with its multiple vertical market exposure. Majority of the cost involved in building a data center is related to the infrastructure that supports the IT, especially the mechanical and electrical infrastructure associated with it, such as power, cooling, and so on. Having deep historical roots in the industry has provided the company with a unique edge in the market. The company’s know-how and technological background on medium voltage switchgears, transformers, UPS systems, batteries, chiller plants, water temperatures, cooling strategies and cooling towers is highly commendable. Furthermore, the J-Tech team has been in the pre-fabrication business for over 10 years, giving it a high degree of exposure and technical expertise dealing with multiple industry verticals that require large mechanical and electrical systems. Hence, when the company ventured into the modular data center business in 2007/08, it had a significant head start which catapulted it ahead of its competitors.
